Callaway tunes Chevy Tahoe for a more powerful presence

If you thought that the Callaway USA is just popular for pumping up and tuning the Corvette and Camaro from General Motors, you are in for a treat now. The automobile tuner from Pennysylvania is now working its magic on Tahoe, one of the best-known SUVs from Chevy.

Dubbed as the 2020 Callaway Tahoe SC560, the tuned variant of the big SUV has been souped-up. There is quite a lot of updates on the exterior package and interior trims. The cabin now exhibits key fobs, floor mats, with Callaway embroidery, badging on the exterior and interior, etc. There is a sports steering wheel as well, along with sports pedal included in the package.

The Callaway Tahoe SC560 will get a plethora of options as well. To start with, the buyers can choose between 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels done in Black Chrome and 20-inch, 9-spoke units finished in Graphite. Under the hood, this Callaway-tuned SUV is powered by a 6.2-liter engine that can churn out a maximum power of 560 hp, along with a peak torque of a whopping 750 Nm.

The SUV comes standard with a 3-year or 36,000-mile warranty, though the buyers have the option of availing the same for 5 years or 60,000 miles. The Callaway Tahoe tuner update goes for a price of $17,995, which is quite justified for its powerful and souped-up appearance.

The standard Chevrolet Tahoe is powered by a V8 engine petrol engine that can produce 355 hp of peak power, along with 520 Nm of peak torque. The produced power is sent down to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard, though a 10-speed auto is optional.
