There are several cubby storage compartments spread across the cabin with one located behind the retractable touchscreen infotainment unit and it also houses a USB port.

The highlight of the 2019 Chevy Corvette Z06 has to be its Targa-style convertible roof that can be easily removed for open-top grand touring leisure. At the rear, the liftback is only accessible by a button on the key fob or the one inside the cabin. The powerplant in the outgoing Corvette Z06 can be ordered with either the standard 7-speed manual gearbox or an optional 8-speed automatic transmission that comes with paddle shifters.

The car will take anywhere between 90 to 100 feet to come to a complete halt from 60 mph. The car does not come equipped with lots of advanced driver assistance features as standard but does offer a heads-up display and a rearview camera which comes equipped with the guiding-line feature as standard. Optional extras include curb-view camera and a performance traction management system. Both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety have not crash-tested the 2019 Z06.
