Chevrolet and GMC trucks will get premium quality interiors for next model year

There is a lot of difference between the pickup trucks from around half a decade back and the modern ones. The modern ones now get options like premium leather upholstery and infotainment systems, just like conventional passenger cars and SUVs. Get higher on the options list and you can get a rear-seat entertainment system with a DVD player (on the double cabin models).

And since pickup trucks are getting richer in its features and more luxurious inside the cabin. A lot of the buyers consider these trucks as lifestyle vehicles and use them as private cars.

At the time of showcasing of the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, keen eyes were quick to notice the elements that were added to the interiors. Of course, it was very different and much better than the Silverado, the features of the cabin resembled those of the SUVs.

Even the Senior Marketing Manager of GMC Trucks & SUVs, Mr. Stuart Pierce feels the same. During an interview with Muscle Cars & Trucks, he did not shy away from saying that the prospective customers of GMC are looking for premium features if the truck is very capable. Plus, he even mentioned that there would be similarities in the cabin of trucks to that of SUVs.

As per the latest information, the Sierra and Silverado are slated for an overhaul next year, which would be launched as the 2022 model. The changes would be focused largely on the cabin, be it with a redesigned dashboard or a larger infotainment system. However, there would be minor tweaks to fit the latest market trends too.

The present lineup of pickup trucks from GMC in the US market includes the Canyon and Sierra 1500; the latter one comes in the Heavy Duty and Limited trim line as well. Moreover, there are pickup trucks in the premium Denali line as well, for the Canyon, Sierra, and Next-Gen Sierra HD.
