Mid-sized SUVs are all the rage these days and picking a good one is tough. I have always loved Chevy cars and went ahead with the purchase of the Traverse. The smooth V6 and 9-speed gearbox make driving the Traverse a pleasure. You have lots of power (310 bhp) and the gas mileage is decent too. We carry everything except the kitchen sink when we travel and the Traverse keeps up with all our demands. Reliability has been great so far, but the Japanese competition does have an edge in this department. But there is nothing major to complain about, a big dependable car is what we needed and the Traverse does deliver.
