For those who want more than the word ‘enough’
Before going for the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, the price difference of almost $10,000 over the standard Corvette Stingray made me feel a bit reluctant. However, a closer inspection and experience is definitely every penny worth spent. Apart from offering mind boggling performance, the various bits like carbon fibre inserts in the interior cabin and massive rear spoiler makes it look and feel like a true blue sportscar. I am not a great fan of new age turbocharging technology, and it is the 6.2-litre naturally aspirated engine of the Corvette Grand Sport which fascinated me the most. While driving it, I indeed feel that I am driving a quintessential American sports car, with no compromise in performance whatsoever. However, the ride quality is a bit harsh to use it as a daily drive for longer commutes.
