2019 Ford F-150 Raptor schleps V8 heart

The supercharged V8-powered 2019 Ford F-150 is here and it looks no less than alluring. Modified by PaxPower, this time, it is the F-150 Platinum model, which now equips much uniqueness in the form of comfort modules and obviously, a capable powertrain. 

Unlike standard modifications, PaxPower has not gone with housing the V8 powertrain in a model instead, it opted to give Raptor treatment including suspension components into V8-armed F-150 variants. Whatever it is, the result is worth describing. The front is highly aggressive as one can expect from a rugged off-roading ute. With a total of nine-light units on the top of the windshields and bold ‘FORD’ badging on the grille, the four-wheeler has everything to pull out attentions.

Front suspensions are paired with adjustable shocks in order to offer bump-free rides along with improved handling and the rear units are also revamped. As for the powertrain, the newly tweaked pickup equips a 5.0-litre Coyote V8 mill mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. But the power output has been hooked to 700 hp owing to the supercharger upgrade. 

The entire pickup’s body is made up of black and glossy elements. Furthermore, aggressiveness is also extended to the tyres, which looks suitable to deal with peak of roughness. The braking layout has also been improved so that to maintain an all-round subtle upgrade.

Apart from the specs, it was also announced that the Platinum/Raptor build has a retail price of $125,000. Comparing this to the standard F-150 Platinum, the price hike is around $55,000. Even though, this is much different than the standard F-150 Platinum, the company will still provide 3-year/36,000-mile (whichever comes first) engine warranty.
