The Ford Transit is the byword for versatility and reliability. Ford is soon going to refresh their Transit lineup for the 2020 year with new engines, transmission, AWD and modern amenities. It is available as either a stripped-out cargo van or a passenger van in two different trims. Its three different wheelbase lengths and three different roof heights give it cargo space of up to 542.2 cubic feet. Engines include a 3.7L V6 petrol (275 hp and 260 lb-ft) and a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (310 hp and 400 lb-ft). A 3.2L Inline 5-cylinder diesel churns out 185 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The only transmission option is a 6-speed automatic. Maximum possible payload capacity for the cargo is 4500 lb while towing capacity is up to 7500 lb with the right configuration. The passenger van can seat up to 15 in the LWB. The list of options for the interior runs just as long. Starting prices range from $33135 to $42205.
