The Chevrolet Camaro gets updated styling, a new transmission option and an improved interior for 2019. With many powerful engines and great handling, it goes head to head against the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger. These include a very approachable 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder producing 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, a 3.6L V6 with 335 hp and 285 lb-ft and a 6.2L V8 with 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. In the track-focused ZL1 trim it gets supercharged to 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. This also gets the exclusive 10-speed automatic option. There are three other variants - two of which can also be had as convertibles - with a total of 6 trims using either the 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. Across this range, the Camaro can be fitted with three different track-oriented packages for your desired level of performance. The interior is modern too with standard 7” infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Prices start from $25,000.

The former Transformers star and arguably one of the most beloved Bumblebee alter egos of all time, the Chevy Camaro gets a mid-cycle refresh for the 2020 model year. The American carmaker has tweaked the pricing and styling for the new LT 1 and 2020 Camaro SS models. The company's bowtie logo has been moved onto the top grille and the bars on the grill now feature the same color scheme as the one found on the bodywork. With the addition of the new LT 1 model, customers will be able to buy a V8 powered Camaro for a more affordable price tag as the new LT1 model is $3,000 cheaper than the Camaro SS which also gets the same motor under the hood. Chevrolet has also done away with the old 8-speed transmission that was offered on its V6 powertrain and the engine now comes mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro also gets a new rally green color scheme along with a range of other customization options. The 2020 Camaro is all set to hit dealerships across America sometime early this fall and will be offered in both coupe and convertible body types. Chevrolet also has made its performance package available across all Camaro models which drastically e improves the car’s sporty credentials.
The updates for the 2020 Camaro are not limited only to the exteriors but also make the way inside the cabin. The car’s interior also gets a refresh and features more pleasing materials, an optional ambient lighting feature and more attractive aesthetics as compared to the outgoing model. Chevrolet offers a user-friendly touch screen infotainment system dubbed ‘Infotainment 3’ which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. The infotainment system also comes equipped with attractive menus of the 4G-LTE enabled mobile Wi-Fi hotspot which can be accessed through intuitive controls and attractive menus that offers responsive feedback. The interior space might be the only aspect in which the 2020 Camaro falls short as compared to its rivals but Chevrolet offers an optional heads up display which is not available in any other offering in this segment.
Chevrolet has not disclosed much information about the pricing for different 2020 Camaro models but has announced that the LT1 variant will be offered with prices starting at $34,995. The outgoing 2019 model features prices starting from $25,995 for the standard 1LS variant going all the way up to $64,590 for the top of the line ZL1 model. The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro will carry forward the same engine options as the outgoing model which includes a base 275 BHP 4 cylinder unit, a 335 BHP naturally aspirated V6 and the company’s iconic small block V8 which produces 455 BHP of power and 455 lb-ft of torque. Customers will also get to select between a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 10-speed automatic transmission which is now also available with the V6 powertrain.
Chevrolet will offer safety features like rear parking sensors, blindspot monitoring, forward collision warning, and rear cross-traffic alert as standard across all 2020 Camaro models. The Camaro sports car has already earned a five-star crash test rating for the 2020 model from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
