2020 Toyota Supra up for sale

Toyota has finally made its 2020 Toyota Supra available in dealerships. The step from the Japanese car manufacturer comes eight months after the vehicle was revealed. The company has confirmed that the first batch of 1500 cars will be the Launch Edition Model, which will be sold initially, having a starting price tag of $56,180. The first one of the lot has been sold for a whopping $2.1 million. The money was then donated to the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the American Heart Association.  

The Launch Edition Models offer quite a few new features that include red mirror cap, a red interior, and black wheels. The company will launch the lower-end versions of the car after selling out the first batch. These versions will be both the 3.0 and 3.0 Premium trims. Among them, the 3.0 version has standard features such as keyless entry, lane-departure warning, dual-zone automatic climate control, automated emergency braking, and many more. It has been priced at $50,920.

On the other hand, the 3.0 Premium version, which is priced at $54,920, is equipped with many more additional features. The list includes a head-up display, a larger touchscreen, improved audio system, and heated leather seats. Both these versions also come with a Driver Assist  Package which has features such as parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and rear-cross traffic alert.

2020 Toyota Supra is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine that delivers a maximum power output of 335 hp along with a peak torque of 495 Nm. The car can go to 60 mph from zero in merely 3.8 seconds while achieving 100 mph of speed in 9.5 seconds. Toyota has opted for a rear-wheel-drive layout for this vehicle. An 8.8-inch touchscreen is also provided and the infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay. The  3.0 Supra has an optional 12-speaker JBL audio system, which, however, is a standard on both the Launch Edition and 3.0 Premium models.
