2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift previewed

Mercedes has previewed the 2020 E-Class facelift through an official teaser showing a slightly camouflaged prototype of the model. The updated E-Class gets a refreshed fascia, styling tweaks, and hybrid options. The vehicle is estimated to reach the European showrooms in the upcoming summer.

Even though the official information is not disclosed yet, but we can observe the minor alterations at the rear and front fascias. One can easily spot the smoother chin with AMG models through the official teaser.

The E-Class range will come with no less than seven plug-in hybrid versions. It will also receive the latest 2-liter four-cylinder engine with 268 hp along with the EQ Boost system. In addition, the facelifted model will come with a new six-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a 48-volt system and EQ Boost system to deliver up to 360 hp.

Technological updates with the latest suite of assisted driving technologies will include Active Distance Assist Distronic, which will make the drivers aware of the slow-moving traffics and jams. The new E-Class will also include the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera accompanied with the Active Steering Assist, Active Traffic Jam Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, and Active Brake Assist with cross-traffic function.

The new Mercedes Benz E-Class has got a new face altogether with a new grille, slimmer headlights along with the new slimmer taillights and the newly re-shaped front bumper.      

The changes in the interior of the car will include a new air quality indicator, a new steering wheel with touch control buttons and the Mercedes Benz Urban Guard feature that will provide all-round surveillance whenever the vehicle is parked.
