KIA Cadenza

Like the exteriors of the Cadenza, its cabin is highly noticeable and looks luxurious when you touch the cabin material. The soft-touch elements intensify the feel of the cabin and distinguish the Kia Cadenza from its rivals. The touchscreen might seem a little distant, but buttons and knobs are placed at the center of the dashboard and are easy to reach and use. This sedan is loaded with the latest and class-leading features, such as adaptive cruise control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and wireless phone charging. However, the infotainment system lacks responsiveness and seems a bit odd. Moreover, the 12-speaker Harman Kardon entices the cabin with high-quality sound and surround effect.

Kia Cadenza is a muscular looking luxury sedan. The exteriors display sleek silhouette and aerodynamic profile which enhance the dynamics of the vehicle. The sophisticated concave grille in the front fascia stands out Cadenza from others and reflects the fresh and unique front appearance. The exteriors look brilliant with the cube-shaped fog lights, Z-shaped LED taillights and uniquely styled headlights. The base grade of Cadenza comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, whereas the two top trims get 19-inch alloy wheels. Also, Kia has focused on detailing the side profile of Cadenza with alluring sightlines. In terms of the rear fascia of Cadenza, it looks brilliant and follows the same Z-themed tail lights design as of front fascia.

As a luxury sedan, Kia Cadenza offers a comfortable ride and agile performance. You can select between Normal, Sport, and Eco driving mode and tune the handling and ride quality accordingly. Cadenza is an excellent sedan for cruising. But, its rivals offer much sharper and tuned handling. The MacPherson strut suspension and stabilizer bar in the front enhance the handling and ride quality of the Cadenza. While the rear frame is balanced upon independent multi-link stabilizer rear. The left and right suspension work independently and help in maintaining a smooth ride. And, the dual-flow damper shock absorbers ensure excellent handling without compromising with the ride quality. All the grades of Kia Cadenza are available in Front Wheel Drive.

The 3.3L V6 engine powers the lineup of Cadenza. This engine is matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission system. It ensures swift power delivery. The V6 engine can produce a maximum power of 290 hp at 6,400 rpm and 253 pound-feet at 5,200 rpm. Kia Cadenza can get from 0–60 mph in just 6.8 seconds. These numbers are sufficient for daily driving needs, but some of the rivals of Cadenza are more agile and quick. Its performance is quite impressive but not the best in the class. In terms of mileage, Cadenza delivers 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.

All the wheels of Kia Cadenza are equipped with the four-wheel Antilock Braking System. In the front wheels, you’ll get 12.6-inch ventilated disc brakes and 12.6-inch solid disc brakes in the rear wheels. The all-wheel ABS works perfectly with the braking input and can impressively get Cadenza from 60–0 mph in just 115 feet. Moreover, in terms of safety features, every grade of Cadenza is furnished with a rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change assist, and blind-spot monitoring. The higher grades offer additional safety features, such as lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. 

Kia Cadenza is a perfect family sedan. It offers excellent interiors, top of the line ride quality, spacious seats, and captivating exterior design which looks appealing. However, on the power and performance front, Kia Cadenza is an average sedan. The V6 engine produces excellent power but lacks punchiness.
