Nissan Versa Sedan

Nissan’s subcompact sedan, the Versa is all-new for 2020. The styling has been revised, the interiors are improved and there are more safety features. Forward and reverse automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and lane departure warning are standard across the three variant range. Also available are blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control are optional extras. The new naturally aspirated 1.6L engine produces a slightly higher output of 122 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque. The base trim comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission while the others get a CVT. The vastly improved interior houses a 7” touchscreen with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on all except the base trim. Prices have also gone up and now start from $15625. The Versa competes against other cheap subcompacts like the Kia Rio, the Hyundai Accent and the Mitsubishi Mirage.
