Honda Passport

The new Honda Passport is much improved over its predecessor, which was last seen in the market over a decade ago. The new model can even be seen as the mini version of the Honda Pilot. Being bigger than the CR-V, this pits it against the Ford Edge and Hyundai Sant Fe. There is no third-row like the Pilot but the second row is generous as is the cargo space. The Passport is not really meant to go off-road, but it has the dimensions to handle rough terrain. The engine is the now familiar 3.5L V6 with 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque with a 9-speed automatic transmission and FWD. AWD is an option on three trims while the topmost trim has it as standard. With AWD it can tow up to 5000 lbs. Inside, the standard infotainment is a 5” touchscreen which can be upgraded to an 8” unit with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
