Mustang inspired electric crossover spotted
Leaving the imagination run wild with some spy shots is one of the sweetest things for an enthusiast, KTM and Ducati made use of that pretty effectively. This time Ford decided to hype up its Mustang-inspired electric crossover with some platonic teasing. Code-named the Mach-E, this crossover is set to be launch on November 17th.
But why would someone go ahead and destroy decades of evolution of styling and put it over a crossover? Well, we think it is for the greater good as Mustang is one good looking pony. The matching headlamps and that pony roof-line do resemble the Mustang but all those burly fenders and SUV-like ground clearance are giving us the ‘heebie-jeebies’.
“The company is moving quickly toward producing what it previously described as a ‘Mustang-inspired’ all-electric SUV that will be in showrooms next year, about the same time Tesla begins to deliver the first Model Y battery SUV.” said Ford spokesperson.
The advent of EVs in America gives us a clear vision of where the automobile industry is headed. We recently came across an electric Mustang and also stumbled upon testing of electric F-150.
As the world is going gaga over the Teslas and EVs, there is one thing we all tend to ignore. The disposing of all those lithium batteries and motors, which are way more harmful than an IC engine. As the world grows fond of these electric vehicles, there isn’t any option left for our basic hum-drums.
