Ford Baby Bronco spy shots revealed
The spy photos of upcoming Ford Bronco have already been roaming all over the internet, but ahead of its public debut, it is reported that the Ford is working on the smaller counterpart of the big SUV. As the exact name is not yet disclosed but termed as Baby Bronco for the time being. Though, sources predicted names are Adventurer or Bronco Sport.
The smaller SUV was caught up-close in the fresh spy shots revealed recently which shows some close shots of the vehicle's suspension and tires.
The exterior dimensions showcase a butch-body structure, under the camouflage wrap all types of fake body panels existed and especially on the roof and all around the fascias at both front and rear ends overstated the size and shape of the vehicle.
The location of the coil springs on the front shock tells that it uses MacPherson struts. On the back, it seems like the vehicle has a multi-link suspension or a double-wishbone setup. Spy shots also uncover the 225/65R17 Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires which are considered as an all-terrain tire for light SUVs and trucks.
The interior designing was hidden except for the steering wheel. And It is expected to have a greenhouse virtually the same as Ford Escape and the uncover steering wheel supports the expectation. As for the drivetrain, two choices are predicted- a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder or a 2.0-litre turbocharged four.
According to sources, the official premiere of baby Bronco is likely to have happened at the start of the next year. The earlier prediction stated the chances of the showcase in the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but now the show is delayed for summer so the possible debut can happen in an autonomous show in New York or Chicago.
