2021 Ford Bronco reportedly getting Yakima accessories
Ford has already announced the arrival of its new SUV Ford Bronco for 2021. And as reported the firm has partnered with Yakima to accessorize it. Before this, Yakima accessories were seen in the Ford Ranger in 2019.
Ford Motor Company continues this relationship with the accessories manufacturing firm to develop various add-ons for the upcoming 2021 Ford Bronco. The anticipation of future demand of accessories led the way of this move, as when the vehicle comes at the local dealer's, the buyers will have access to accessories like bike racks, cargo carriers, and possibly even a tent.
Yakima also offers a 6.5-foot by 6.5-foot foldable canopy that is mounted on the roof, as well. And it is expected that this collaboration of Yakima and Ford will be the most ambitious among them.
Customers can buy Yakima accessories as per their choice through local dealers in the US. Presently, all Yakima accessories bought through a Ford dealership come with a 3-year or 36,000-mile Ford warranty, and also available in extended warranty schemes.
With the Bronco, the firm is aiming to compete with Jeep Wrangler, which is known for its unlimited factory and after accessories and also to grab a cut of the Jeep’s market share.
The model may also come with a smaller variant with the name Bronco Sport and probably based on the new Escape compact crossover. The production-based prototypes have already come out and rumors are also spread that model will be unveiled early next year.
Moreover, the sources also tell that the new F-150 is ready for a public debut in mid-2020.
