I was looking for a compact SUV with more standard safety features than the rest and this led me to the Rogue. The base model is very well kitted for around $25,000. The only major issue with the Rogue is the underwhelming engine performance. Even though it has 170 horses, it just feels lethargic. This doesn't matter to me that much, it is good enough for everyday use. The interiors are well laid out with good quality materials all around and is overall a nice place to be in.
