2020 Honda Civic Si Coupe and Sedan revealed

With the changes in styling and equipment, Honda launched its Civic Si Coupe and Sedan in the US for the model year 2020. The new updated models' accord with the updated Civic hatchback launched in the country a few days back. On the exterior part, sedan and coupe flaunt a revised front end almost similar to the hatchback. The fresh lower apron includes fog lamp housings with gloss black trim, a crossbar of body-color, and the old honeycomb mesh replaced with a more exquisite black panel.

More upgradations on the exterior cover new LED fog lamps and a reshaped “wing” upper grille with multi-element LED headlamps on the sides. In back, the Civic Si Coupe remains unchanged, but Civic Si sedan gets fresh body-color inserts at the sides of the bumper. Redesigned matte black 18-inch wheels are fitted  as standard in all Civic si-models

Inside the cabin, both models feature more red highlights on the trim adjacent to the instrument panel and begged new sport seats with red accents on the back and bottom. The most significant update on the 2020 Honda Civic Si coupe comes in the form of the inclusion of Honda Sensing as standard equipment. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM). To improve audio system sound while spirited driving, the Active Sound Control feature is also added.

Moving on to the mechanical features, the powertrain remains with the VTEC Turbo 1.5-litre four-cylinder producing 205 hp at 5,700 rpm and 260 Nm of peak torque from 2,100 to 5,000 rpm. Civic Si exclusively comes with a six-speed manual transmission. The inclusion of a shorter final-drive ratio for quicker acceleration came with the lower fuel economy as it can be observed that 2020 models provide the mileage of 30 mpg whereas 2019 models were rated at 32 mpg. The pricing range for MY 2020 starts from US$25,000.
