2020 Genesis G90 offers steep discounts for leasing
Genesis is offering steep discounts on G90 trims ahead of their arrival in the showrooms. According to reports, Genesis is offering up to $6,750 off a G90 lease.
The G90 lineup comes at a $5,000 discount on its base model. The all-wheel-drive setup raises its deduction to $5,250. However, the Ultimate variant is only eligible for discounts worth $4,000 with rear-wheel-drive and updated discount of $5,750 on its all-wheel-drive trim.
Moreover, the automaker offers a $1,000 conquest bonus for customers coming from a competitor, while current Genesis or Hyundai customers can qualify for a $1,000 loyalty discount.
Genesis has been introducing changes in its luxury sedan ever since its launch in 2017. The current generation of G90, unveiled in Nov 2019, brings a significant redesign along with tech and safety upgrades.
On the outside, G90 gets a revised styling. The headlights are now LED, and aerodynamical styling can be witnessed over the hood, fenders, taillights, and rear bumper. Additionally, the new vehicle retains the doors, roof, and glass from its predecessor.
The powertrain of the car shows minor changes. It is powered by the same 3.3-litre twin-turbo V-6 and 5.0-litre V-8 engine but with a revised tuning. The V-6 generates a maximum of 365 hp alongside producing a peak torque of up to 510 Nm of torque. While the V-8 produces a maximum power of 420 hp and peak torque of up to 520 Nm. Both the engine offerings are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Both the trims are offered with Rear-wheel drive as standard alongside an all-wheel-drive that is optional. The leasing plan of the vehicle is slated with G90 Premium at the lease amount of $899 for a total of 36 months. While a due amount of $5,999 will be charged at signing a contract of driving the car for 10,000 miles-per-year.
The facelifted G90 was unveiled recently and comes with a price tag starting from $75,695 for the 3.3T Premium AWD., while the 5.0L Ultimate RWD and AWD begin from $76,695 and $79,195 accordingly.
