Like the exteriors, Telluride’s interiors treatment harmonizes with the Hyundai Palisade. Indeed, the Quilted Nappa leather, 10.25-inch touchscreen, and control console are similar in both the grades. However, Telluride comes with a more charming cabin and provides a luxurious feel and top of the line comfort. In terms of connectivity features, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, UVO link is standard among all the grades. And, makes it easier for you to connect your device on the go, control the remote features, and get the status of the vehicle with ease. While in terms of infotainment, you’ll get a 10.25-inch advanced touchscreen display and 630-watt Harman Kardon premium audio surround system with 10 speakers. All these features and specifications conform well for a family car. But, when it comes to the seating, third-row seats aren’t comfortable for tall persons. 

When it comes to the exteriors, Kia Telluride looks a lot similar to Hyundai Palisade, and share similar styling with little alterations to the front and rear elements. For big SUVs riding on 20-inch or higher size wheels, providing a comforting and balanced ride is one of the significant challenges that OEM’s face. This is not the case with Telluride, it lives up to the expectation of a perfect SUV. In the front, it comes equipped with Mcpherson strut suspension integrated with the coil springs, which help in absorbing the vibrations and bumps from the road. While the stabilizer bars in the front and self-leveling rear suspension keep the Telluride in the right balance while taking sharp turns. Also, as an 8-seater SUV, Telluride offers gentle and resolute control over the wheel. Especially while making sharp turns at high speed, the standard Torque Vectoring Control works perfectly and keeps the vehicle in action. 

Unlike many of its rivals, which offer the base and top grades in two different engine options. Kia Telluride provides excellent performance with the standard 3.8L GDI V6 engine. It’s a 6-cylinder engine and is built with dual CVVT valve gear, which optimizes the power and enables swift delivery. The power output of this V6 engine proves to be a good companion for Telluride, and it can get you the maximum power output of 291 hp at 6,000 rpm and torque of 262 lb.-ft. at 5,200 rpm. The power is transmitted via an electronically controlled 8-speed automatic transmission. It enables quick engine response and can get Telluride from 0–60 mph in just 7 seconds, which is quite impressive. Plus, including all these specifications, Telluride offers a true towing power of 5,000 lb. While ensuring a combined fuel economy of 23 mpg combined for FWD grades and 21 mpg for AWD grades. 

Telluride competes with some of the class-leading vehicles like Ford Edge and Chevy Traverse. Hence, it gets necessary for KIA to equip this vehicle with best-in-class safety and driver assistance features. As a result, every variant of Telluride has the essential functions of the Kia Driver Wise suite. Be it Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Rear-cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Automatic Lane Centring, etc. This SUV proves to the safest and smart in the segment. However, there are some features that Telluride misses too, like self-parking assistance, which could have helped drivers in a significant way, keeping in mind the size of this SUV. Moreover, in terms of braking, you’ll get dual diagonal, and power-assisted 13.4-inch ventilated disc brakes in the front and 12.0-inches solid disc brakes in the rear wheels. 

Considering the price range and new innovations and modifications in the new Kia Telluride, it would be right to say that this SUV rules over others in terms of styling, interior comfort, and performance as well.
