Both grades of Niro are mated with the 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it optimizes the engine’s performance and ensures swift delivery of power. In terms of mileage, Niro Hybrid variants deliver 52 mpg in the city while 49 mpg on highways. Moreover, PHEV grades can deliver an all-electric range of 26 miles, when mixed with gas, you'll get a mileage of 105 mpg, while plug-in hybrids can deliver an all gas range of 46 mpg.

Kia Niro is equipped with the four-wheel Anti-lock Braking System, 11-inch ventilated disc brakes in the front and 10.3-inch solid disc brakes in the year.
