Revamped Bentley Bentayga to come with either four or seven seats
The revisited Bentley Bentayga will be hitting the roads soon enough. What Bentley claims to be the "the world’s most versatile luxury vehicle", the revisited Bentayga will feature either a four-seat or three-row seven-seat arrangement. The four-seat variant will get a centre console with armrest and storage space, whereas the seven-seat model will come with an optional central seat and a third row.
In the case of the four-seat model, the SUV will provide the passengers at the back with extensive “entertainment” and “enhanced space for relaxation,'' said the automaker. Not only that, but the rear seats will also flaunt heating, 12-way electrical adjustment, ventilation and massage facilities. Also, Bentley will offer high-end creature comforts like Bluetooth headphones, Bentley Rear Entertainment, fold-down picnic tables and the Mulliner-Console Drinks Cooler.
Moving on, Bentley cited the seven-seat model to offer "maximum versatility", and this particular trim will boast an electronically folding third row of seats, Bentley Rear Entertainment, and much more. While the Hybrid powertrain will only be available with the four-seat Bentayga, the other two powertrains will be up for grabs with the seven-seater SUV as well.
The hybrid version will comprise of a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that works in tandem with an electric motor. This is not only Bentley's first plug-in hybrid but also the automaker's most efficient model to date. Then there is the 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine that is capable of generating 626 hp of maximum power. Also available with the Continental GT, this powerful motor can take the Bentley Bentayga to a top speed of 190 mph (306 kmph). At last, the SUV also gets a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 gasoline-fed engine churning out 542 hp of top power output. A 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) run with the V8 takes just 4.4 seconds, and the SUV can go up to 180 mph (290 kmph).
So, just like it has us in awe, the Bentley Bentayga that has been designed, engineered, and handcrafted in Great Britain must've impressed you to the core as well. So much so that trading your previous-gen model in favour of the updated SUV won't be a difficult decision, or will it be?
