Harley Davidson reveals a Special Pickup Edition Truck

Harley Davidson has revealed a new pickup edition truck as its 2020 offering. For their latest model, the automaker has mated the styles of Harley with that of a GMC truck along with 65 integrated components for a change in the traditional pickup truck style.

For 2020, the American motorcycle manufacturer has worked with Tuscany Motor Company in their latest collaboration and have chosen a new canvas for their latest offering. Instead of the traditional Ford F-150 which is formed under the decade-old partnership between Harley and Ford, the “Motor Companies” have unveiled a Harley-Davidson-branded 2020 GMC Sierra. 

Following last year’s reboot version of the F-150 Harley-Davidson edition, this year’s look was adopted by the Fat Boy motorbike and featured around 65 unique components, including a redesigned front bumper and fenders. This special pickup edition truck rolls on 22-inch milled aluminium wheels that sport all-terrain tires along with a custom exhaust pipe. 

The Harley-Davidson-branded 2020 GMC Sierra also comes equipped in aluminium tips, a hood vent, and two orange hooks. The car is said to come wrapped in two colour offering, namely Onyx Black, Summit White or Satin Steel Metallic colour. 

The drivetrain of the vehicle is not officially revealed. However, it could carry the same engine as the traditional F-150. Moreover, being a special edition, the car can also carry the 6.2-litre V-8 engine with the transmission of most definitely, a 10-speed automatic.

On the interior, the vehicle comprises of two-tone diamond-stitched leather seats, upholstered in piano black trim and orange-stitched black leather. The F-150 also comes with a Bar and Shield-motif front grille, along with a centre console that displays badge and a serial number of the vehicle.

On being asked about their latest offering to the market, Harley-Davidson’s GM of brand marketing, Jon Bekefy, commented, “We’re proud of the new Harley-Davidson edition GMC Sierra”. He also added, “It truly reflects Harley-Davidson’s passion for giving committed riders new ways to share their affinity for the brand and for riding.”

Lastly, the GMC Sierra is said to mark its official debut at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, held from January 11 to 19, 2020. Moreover, the vehicle is limited to only 250 units and will carry a price tag of $94,995.
