Check out Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo concept

Touted as the best virtual car ever, the V12 Vision Gran Turismo concept has been revealed by Lamborghini at the 2019 world finals of the FIA-Certified Gran Turismo Championship in Monte Carlo. The concept was, however, teased by the company a week before. The Gran Turismo concept will be made available for PlayStation 4 from spring 2020.

The prototype revealed is a single-seater with the most dramatic design possible similar to the Gran Turismo concepts unfolded before by automakers like Hyundai, Bugatti, Jaguar, and Zagato. The design is busy leaving no clue about the car’s roof, doors, entry/exit, etc. The director of Lamborghini design centre, Mitja Borkert, however, tries to explain by saying, “it’s centre’s commitment to developing innovative technologies, especially in the field of light materials and hybridization.”

He further added, “The Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo was designed to be the best virtual car ever for all the young gamers and fans who love our brand. It is an opportunity for the genius and talent of our designers to fully express themselves and imagine a car that is not only fascinating and incredible to drive.”

The V12 Vision Gran Turismo concept uses the same electric powertrain as the Sian, which comes with a naturally-aspirated V12 6.5-litre engine and a 48-V mild hybrid system that’s capable of pumping out a max power of 830 PS. It can clock 100 kmph from standstill in just 2.8 seconds before attaining a top speed of 350 kmph. The Italian automaker, however, hasn’t officially revealed the powertrain details as yet. Also, for other details like the concept’s dynamic capabilities, we’ll have to wait until it debuts for the Gran Turismo Sport.
