Bugatti’s second model will not be an SUV, expected price $1 Million
Many things are roaming around the internet regarding the Bugatti’s second model. The company had been in talks about adding the second vehicle in the range for the last few years, but now ideation seems a bit closer to the production.
As reported, the French automaker is intending to build a car that is majorly different from the Chiron and all the similar ones. According to the Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann, the vehicle will be based on high-riding platform as the people especially females wants to have high-rise cabin seat so they can easily see-out.
Further, he added that don't call it an SUV, Bugatti will have no SUV. And also it will not be a limo with hyper luxury specs, because traditional limos just not have enough demand.
So, all this implies that the upcoming model of Bugatti will be a sporty crossover with a higher seating position, lower body and less quadratic than a traditional SUV or it can be said that it would be a four-seater car with some off-road capability.
Regarding the price, the automaker apparently states that this will be the greatest and most expensive car in its class. Though, it cannot be called as the most expensive or extreme Bugatti because Chiron will always be continuing on the top.
Winkelmann stated that the starting price of the new Bugatti will be around $1 million while Chiron has a price-tag of $2.6 million, which is significantly higher than the new model. But the upcoming one will be far more expensive than Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Regarding the powerplant of the vehicle, the automaker commented that it may have a hybridized powertrain. And, he also revealed that the firm is looking at the sources of finance for the development of the vehicle.
All expectations and rumors will become clear in the upcoming years as the new Bugatti is likely to launch in 2023 with the confined production limit of 800 units.
