Audi may launch RS6, RS7 Hybrids

Many automakers had converted their vision of making an electric-vehicle into reality. As the world knows that VW and its network producers are diving into the world of electric vehicles. The German automobile manufacturer Porsche has recently made an impressive debut of its all-electric Taycan super sedan. Lamborghini, the Italian automaker is about to unveil its first-ever PHEV vehicle at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. The official premiere of VW ID.3 EV will also be seen at the show. And, recently Audi revealed its luxury brand A7 Sportback e Quattro hybrid.

The Audi has also added two new models in the range; RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback. And, it is not wrong to say that the combination of Audi’s bent towards horsepower and the electric renaissance can bring RS hybrid models soon. In a recent interview, the company officials provided some hints that higher-level performance models for the RS6 and RS7 could come in electric version while the Oliver Hoffman, Audi Sport’s Managing Director confirmed that RS models are coming with plug-in hybrid technology but the exact RS models are still unknown.

RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback are well-balanced for best riding experience on highways and byways both. RS6 Avant has a twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 591 PS of power and 800 Nm of torque. It can cover 0 to 96 kmph run in only 3.6 seconds and it has the all-time best looks.

On the other side, the all-new RS7 Sportback gets the slinky coupe-styled body of the regular A7 Sportback and spins the dial up to 11. At the front, there is an aggressive honeycomb grille insert, larger intakes on bumper sides, and blacked-out accents. It acquires the mechanical bits from RS6. The official premiere of both models is happening at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The RS7 is all set to arrive in Europe in the first quarter of 2020 and Audi Australia is expected to have the new RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback during mid-2020.
