Arden Bentley AB III adds more width to the Continental GT

The new Bentley Continental GT carries an impressive and noticeable styling, though the model has undergone modifications by German tuning company Arden.

The company modifies the appointments of luxury cars in a more striking form. The modified version comes as Arden Bentley AB III with a widebody kit for the already sizable grand tourer.

In the standard factory form, the bodywork of the vehicle carries all carbon finishings. Arden modified fender flares front and rear, adding 50 mm (two inches) per side. The new edges link the enhances wheel arches and a modified front spoiler fits over the standard Continental fascia to get symmetrical widebody designing in the front. 

Arden also added a couple of carbon fibre air scoops to the prolonged hood intending to help in regulating the heat in the engine bay. At the rear part, modifications include a rear diffuser and a bare carbon fiber spoiler to give a complete look to the Bentley.

To fill the space between the fenders, the modifier proposes the lightweight wheel options which also go with the aggressive look. A set of 22-inch spoke magnesium wheels with staggered 275/35 rubber up front, and wider 315/30 tyres at the rear are added.

The powertrain of the vehicle is not tinkered by the Arden as it already churns an impressive output of 626 PS from its 6.0-litre of displacement. After all the upliftments, the weight of the vehicle is still 5,000 pounds heavy, and for this Arden suggested an upgraded exhaust which is said to improve the vehicle’s performance about 10 percent along with a reduction in fuel consumption.

Till date, the automaker does not reveal anything about the tentative availability and the price of the modified Bentley Continental GT.
