2021 Alfa Romeo Tonale images leaked
As we know that the Alfa Romeo revealed the concept form of Tonale at the Geneva Motor Show that took in March this year. And ahead of its official debut, the leaked images showing the Tonale have come out and are hovering all over the internet.
The leaked images can be supposed as the production version of the earlier shown concept model. By observing the images, it can be noted that the overall shape and silhouette, as well as the hidden rear door handles of the concept model, are present.
While, some changes are also noticeable which include taller headlights, pull-out front door handles, proper wing mirrors, and smaller wheels. Side mirrors are also there in place of rear-facing cameras shown earlier.
At the rear, the larger tail lights can be seen which keep up the horizontal look of the vehicle, though the oval-shaped exhaust outlets blended with the rear bumper are the same as the concept one.
The leaked images do not showcase the cabin view of the new Tonale. But at the time of showing the concept model, the automaker revealed the following Alfa Romeo Tonale specs:
- Two digital displays, a 12.3-inch screen in the instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch monitor for infotainment.
- Small LEDs near the climate vents for controlling the interior temperature of the vehicle.
As reported, the upcoming Tonale is in the production stage currently and FCA has invested around $1 billion into its Italian operations of building this car and a hybrid Fiat Panda.
The automaker has not officially disclosed anything about the Tonale engine specs yet, though the indications suggest that a plug-in hybrid engine may on the list. Volvo XC40, BMW X2, and Audi Q3 can be observed as the close competitors of the Tonale.
