2020 Buick Enclave receives Sport Touring treatment
Buick has declared it’s attaching a bit more style next year to the 2020 Enclave, which is the brand’s flagship crossover with a new Sport Touring package. It is also modernising the Enclave across all trims with various new features, technologies, and upgrades, which even includes the top-end Enclave Avenir. If you're in search of a luxurious three-row semi-premium crossover including a more edgelike look and insignificant bling, Buick has got something for you, 2020 Buick Enclave. It comes with a sportier appearance, all thanks to 20-inch alloy wheels with contrast Satin Graphite enclosure and body-coloured grille surround. Unfortunately, if you are willing to purchase the top-of-the-line, it will minus the shiny exterior bits. The Sport Touring package is exclusively available on the Essence grade, which falls just above the base Preferred trim.
Other changes for the 2020 Buick Enclave include onboard navigation, General Motors' new infotainment system and an 8.0-inch touchscreen, which comes standard on all trims. In addition to that, the brand has added surround view monitors based on the grade and an HD rearview camera. Avenir and Premium models now come with massaging front seats as standard to further differentiate the Enclave from more inferior GM three-row crossovers such as Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia.
It will hit the dealerships later this summer. Buick Enclave will be priced from $41,195 for the base variant, which will make it less expensive than the entry-level 2019 Acura MDX ($45,295).
As before, it will be powered by a 3.6-litre V6 paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which is capable of churning out 310 hp. Front-wheel drive will be standard and all-wheel drive will remain optional. EPA fuel economy ratings for the Buick are 17/25 mpg with all-wheel drive and 18/26 mpg city/highway for front-drive models.
