2020 Audi RS 4 with a new look and more power
A few days back, Audi unveiled an all-new RS 6 with a completely new look and power generation capacity of 600 PS. The automaker has now announced that the car will be soon coming to America.
After this, Audi is ready to roll out another RS wagon i.e., 2020 RS 4 Avant. Though, the state will not be getting this one.
On the exterior, the styling appointments include a lower, wider grille, new headlights, and a redesigned rear diffuser. The RS4 emblem remains embedded on the grille, but along with the four-rings logo in a blackout treatment. The front wheel arches have also been widened by adding 30 mm at both the front and back.
Inside the cabin, the Audi RS 4 specs include:
- New MMI infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a new touch-sensitive control pad.
- Onboard navigation, which allows all the equipped cars to share data with each other on traffic conditions or in case of any mishap.
- Virtual Cockpit digital instrument which displays information like tire pressure, torque and power output, engine oil temperature, lap timings, acceleration measurements, and g-forces.
Under the skin, the Audi RS 4 engine bay gets a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V-6 unit same as the ongoing model producing 443 PS of power and 599 Nm of torque from 1900 to 5000 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic and the company's signature Quattro AWD system. The firm claims the run of 0-100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 280 kmph.
The official premiere of the car will be held at the DTM finale at Hockenheimring in Germany this weekend, October 4th, 2019. The sales of the vehicle have already started in Europe with a starting price of 81,400 Euros( $89,000).
